Staying HIV Negative
Workshops for Staying HIV Negative can be arranged upon request by organizations.

Below are the principles we use in our community events for keeping people HIV Negative.

We believe that once you understand how HIV is transmitted and you know what steps to take to prevent anyone from getting HIV, which can possibly lead to AIDS, and then it becomes a simple matter of implementation.

4 know methods for transmission of HIV

(1)
From a mother who is infected  with HIV to her baby; this can occur during pregnancy, at birth and through breastfeeding.

(2)
Having unprotected penetrative sex with someone who is infected with HIV.

(3)
Participating in Injection or transfusion of contaminated blood or blood products, donations of semen (artificial insemination), skin grafts or organ transplants taken from someone who is infected with HIV.

(4)
Sharing unsterilized injection equipment that has previously been used by someone who is infected with HIV.
